Project design is a process of aligning the prioritized plan and programs, implementation processes, and deliverables in a systematical framework. It’s an early phase in the project lifecycle and often comes before a project plan or charter. The project design includes activities, log-frame, flowcharts, Gantt charts, timelines, and are always supported such activities by the required human and financial resources. In general, the project deliverables are planned out in six to seven steps.
When it comes to managing projects, it can be hard to get everyone on the same page. In context of Nepal, involvement of the different stakeholders for different deliverables, proper mobilization of the human and financial resources in line with the deliverables and the simultaneous measurement of the physical progress and resources utilization are being serious challenges in course of project management.
